Responsibilities: As an Audit Senior, you will… • Lead public sector external audit assignments from planning through to completion. • Manage budgets, workflow and deadlines across a portfolio of audit engagements. • Communicate with clients regularly, ensuring a high level of service throughout the audit process. • Support, review and develop junior team members through guidance and feedback. • Handle complex audit areas including risk assessment, group audits and first-year audit testing. Requirements: As an Audit Senior, you will need… • ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or a similar professional qualification. • Experience working in audit, ideally with exposure to public sector external audit. • Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, including public sector disclosure requirements. • Confidence managing multiple assignments, budgets and client relationships. • The ability to assess risk, lead audit meetings and deliver high-quality work to deadline.
