Job description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hands-on Auto Foam Technician to join our Manufacturing Department within our thriving UK medical manufacturing company. The successful candidate will take ownership of an automated foam pouring line to achieve required stable output, while adhering to strict quality procedures to maintain a consistently high level of quality foam slit. The role will also involve maintaining equipment to a high standard, with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules being a key priority. Essential Experience/Qualifications • Demonstrable experience within a regulated production environment • Good understanding of equipment fault finding and problem solving • Basic engineering skills • Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures Desirable Experience/Qualifications • Demonstrate safe use of chemicals within a production process • Good understanding of Shop Floor Health and Safety practices Key Skills • Professional and positive attitude to succeed within a medical organisation • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Able to learn new processes from start to finish • Able to multitask and prioritise workload • Able to make decisions and self manage • Able to work in a team and on own initiative • Have a can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work • I.T.
