AV Workshop Technician Wokingham | Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:30pm Salary: £25,500 + Regular Overtime Available Are you hands-on, technically minded individual and looking for a role where no two days are quite the same? We are recruiting for an AV Workshop Technician to join a busy and growing team in Wokingham, Berkshire preparing professional audio-visual equipment for events across the UK. Working from a spacious modern workshop, you'll be responsible for testing, inspecting and preparing large-format display screens (typically 55" and above) along with other AV equipment, ensuring everything is in perfect working order before it's sent to customers. What you'll be doing as an AV Workshop Technician • Testing and quality checking large-format screens and AV equipment • Inspecting equipment for damage and grading its condition • Cleaning and preparing equipment ready for dispatch • Updating records and completing quality checks • Diagnosing basic faults and carrying out firmware updates where required • Occasionally supporting equipment installations at customer sites and events We're looking for someone who: • Has good technical aptitude and is confident using computers • Enjoys practical, hands-on work • Is physically fit and comfortable handling large screens safely • Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work • Works well as part of a team and has a positive attitude • Holds a full UK driving licence ideally • Previous AV experience is helpful but not essential – if you're technically minded and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
