Band 7 Clinical Services Coordinator

• Co-ordinate the activities of the multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team, including allied health professionals, education staff and other agencies involved in the assessment of children referred to the CDC • Ensure that parent/carer involvement, engagement and participation is at the core of all activities planned and undertaken • Co-ordinate and oversee the organisation of clinics, groups, assessments and reviews, ensuring that they are delivered in an efficient, effective and inclusive manner, following agreed CDC guidelines and processes • Liaise with health care professionals and colleagues from other agencies to ensure children attending the centre receive the optimum care and appropriate goals and outcomes are set for that care • Provide clinical advice and safeguarding advice appropriate to the role/professional background of the post holder, linking in with other staff, ie. Safeguarding leads, Health Visitors and other key managers • Provide support and guidance to centre staff and other agencies where issues arise regarding the medical and developmental needs of children attending the centre.
