Bar Staff

Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in bar work is required. Experience in cellar work and maintenance is preferred but training can be given to the right candidate. Responsibilities • Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and accurately to customers in accordance with company standards • Take orders and handle cash transactions using the till system with basic maths skills • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards • Replenish stock levels regularly and assist with inventory management • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming environment • Ensure responsible alcohol service by adhering to legal requirements and company policies • Assist in setting up and clearing tables or bar areas as needed • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Experience • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is essential • Experience in cellar work and maintenance including line cleaning is preferred but training can be given to the right candidate. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is advantageous • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately • Must be over 18 This role offers an engaging environment where your interpersonal skills can flourish.
