Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Front of House (FOH) team member to join our vibrant establishment on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where your organisational skills and flair for service will be highly valued. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
• Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Engage with guests to enhance their experience, creating a warm and welcoming environment
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during shifts
Skills
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar operations
• Experience in serving beverages and managing guest interactions in a fast-paced setting
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven time management abilities to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
