Behaviour Mentor – September StartFull-Time | Long-Term Position | North London | £100 - £130 per day Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in North London from September. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching or support work who are looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people. The Role: • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs • Supporting students who may present with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, ADHD or Autism • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils and acting as a positive role model • Implementing behaviour strategies and interventions to improve engagement and learning outcomes • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally • Promoting positive behaviour, resilience and emotional regulation The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working with children or young people Experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Sports Coach or Mentor is highly desirable Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or challenging behaviour is preferred Strong behaviour management and communication skills A calm, patient and resilient approach A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and helping them reach their full potential An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer: Competitive daily rates of £100 – £130 per day Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment Supportive and inclusive school environments Excellent experience for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, counsellors and pastoral professionals Ongoing support from an experienced education recruitment team If you are passionate about making a positive impact and are looking for an exciting opportunity this September, we would love to hear from you.
