Behaviour Support Assistant - Secondary School Full-time | Long-term | Sept Start Chiswick Veritas Education is working with a well-established secondary school in Chiswick who are seeking a confident, supportive and motivated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience within education, youth work, coaching or a related field. The school is also opening a brand-new specialist behaviour provision within the school, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing and supportive setting focused on meeting the needs of students requiring additional behavioural support. The Role • Supporting students across KS3 & KS4 in a range of subjects • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils stay engaged and make progress • Assisting with classroom routines, behaviour and lesson preparation • Building positive relationships with young people and acting as a reliable role model • Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support learning and wellbeing • Supporting the set up and running of a new literacy programme What the School Is Looking For • Someone confident, patient and proactive with young people • Ability to build rapport and communicate well • Interest in education, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or similar • Reliability, resilience and a strong team ethic • Previous experience with young people is beneficial but not essential What We Can Offer • Full training and ongoing support from Veritas Education • Experience in a supportive, inclusive school environment • Opportunity to develop into pastoral, behaviour, or SEN pathways • Competitive daily rate • Long-term role with potential to continue into the next academic year How to ApplyIf you feel you would be a good fit for this role, please call and ask to speak with Gemma at Veritas or submit your CV!
