About the RoleAs a Brickwork Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will: • Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Brickwork programmes from Level 1 to Level 2, • Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements, • Support learners in developing practical brickwork skills, technical knowledge, and industry awareness, • Contribute to the delivery and development of apprenticeship provision, including the Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard, • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement, • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within workshop and classroom settings. What We’re Looking For • A relevant Brickwork qualification at Level 3 or above, • Industry experience within Brickwork or the wider construction sector, • Knowledge of Level 2 Apprenticeship Standards, or a willingness to develop this knowledge, • Experience with City & Guilds qualifications and assessment requirements is desirable, • Strong communication and organisational skills, • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
