About the RoleAs a Motor Vehicle Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will: • Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Automotive programmes from Level 1 to Level 3, • Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements, • Support learners in developing technical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and industry-standard working practices, • Contribute to the delivery of the Level 2 Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Standard and support the future development of Level 3 apprenticeship provision, • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement, • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within workshop and classroom settings. What We’re Looking For • A relevant Motor Vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above, • Industry experience within the automotive sector, • Experience delivering IMI qualifications is desirable but not essential, • Knowledge of the Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard and an understanding of Level 3 apprenticeship provision, • An F-Gas qualification would be beneficial, although training and support can be provided to obtain this qualification, • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
