• Annual Salary: Up to £100,000 • Location: City of London • Job Type: Permanent Join a well-respected Lloyd’s insurance broker based in the City of London, known for their commitment to excellent service. We are currently seeking a Broker with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Lloyd’s broker environment, specialising in Non-Marine and Property Treaty XL Business. This role offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be part of a successful team. Day-to-day of the role: • Generate new contract and renewal enquiries. • Submit enquiries and amendments to underwriters in the market. • Develop and maintain relationships with Underwriters, Agents, and Clients. • Support the Divisional Director with all broking requirements. • Research (Re)insurance companies and products to find the most suitable insurance for clients at the best terms and price. • Arrange specialised (Re)insurance cover in complex cases; preparing reports for underwriters and negotiating as required. • Advise clients/agents on specific risk management strategies. • Produce and process open market slips and assist with binding authorities. • Assist in claims handling as required. • Ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements. • Perform general administration tasks. • Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organised manner and present these to senior management as required. • Handle any ad hoc duties. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Lloyd’s broker role. • Part CII qualification or equivalent is ideal. • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality. • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
