Job description

Catch 22 are working with a large independent property management organisation, who are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee a commercial property close to the centre of Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to join a leading property management team. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services. • Manage contracts, budgets, and procurement processes to ensure effective service delivery. • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards. • Conduct regular property inspections and safety tours. • Liaise with occupiers, staff, and service providers to maintain smooth building operations. Ideal Candidate: • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Facilities Management, with a strong understanding of managing agent responsibilities. (Preferred) • Knowledge of landlord-tenant relationships within commercial property. • Proven experience in health and safety management, including awareness of fire risk, asbestos, and water hygiene. • Strong contract management skills and experience leading a team. • IOSH Managing Safely certification (essential). • Membership of IWFM/IOSH (preferred).
