Job description

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a growing team delivering surveys and inspections across residential, commercial, and public sector properties. The successful candidate will carry out building condition surveys, identify defects, assess compliance and safety risks, and provide clear technical recommendations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor with experience in housing, rail, or public sector environments. Key Responsibilities • Conduct fabric condition surveys and inspections of buildings and assets • Identify defects including damp, mould, cracking, water ingress, and structural issues • Carry out HHSRS, fire safety, and compliance inspections • Produce accurate technical reports and remedial recommendations • Assess maintenance and lifecycle requirements of building elements • Work closely with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders • Ensure work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards • Manage survey schedules and workloads effectively Requirements • Previous experience as a Building Surveyor • Knowledge of building defects, fabric inspections, and compliance standards • Experience carrying out condition surveys and producing technical reports • Understanding of HHSRS, fire safety, and health & safety regulations • Strong communication and organisational skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections If you have the relevant skills then please apply today!
