Job description

A respected and well-established independent education organisation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to an executive leader. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and collaborative environment. You will play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership, ensuring governance, administration and operational activities are coordinated efficiently. The responsibilities of the Executive Assistant will include: • Managing complex diaries, inboxes, meetings and action trackers • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders • Preparing reports, presentations and supporting documentation • Coordinating Board, Trustee and committee meetings • Preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions • Providing governance and compliance administration • Managing confidential documentation with discretion • Coordinating visitors, meetings and hospitality arrangements • Supporting policy reviews, document management and version control • Maintaining governance records, contracts and registers • Assisting with data administration and information management • Supporting special projects and organisational initiatives • Using digital technologies and AI tools to improve efficiency and administration To be successful in this Executive Assistant role, you will have: • At least two years' experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant • Excellent organisational and time management skills • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information • Experience producing meeting papers, agendas and minutes • Strong Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills • Confidence learning and using new technologies and AI-enabled systems • Previous experience within education would be advantageous but is not essential Benefits • Competitive salary • 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays • Reduced working hours during school holidays • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Varied and interesting Executive Assistant role with senior-level exposure • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and strategic initiatives • Long-term career development opportunities • Modern and professional workplace Apply Now If you are an organised, proactive and professional Executive Assistant looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
