Job Description: UK-Based (On-Site, Hybrid or Remote) About the Roles We're looking for experienced Business Analysts at all levels—from Business Analyst through to Senior, Lead, Head of Business Analysis, Technical Business Analyst and Business Systems Analyst positions—for upcoming roles across digital, financial, regulatory, customer, operations and transformation programmes. These are hands-on roles where you'll sit at the meeting point of business and technology, turning unclear problems into structured, actionable work that delivers measurable outcomes. You'll work across the full analysis lifecycle—from stakeholder engagement and discovery through to requirements, process design, delivery support and benefits realisation. The role suits someone who pairs strong analytical and requirements discipline with the facilitation skill to align stakeholders and the commercial nous to focus the work where it matters. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, surface real problems and shape them into scoped analytical or change work • Elicit, document and validate requirements across functional, non-functional, data and process dimensions • Map current and future-state processes (BPMN, flowcharts, journey maps) and identify improvement opportunities • Translate business needs into clear specs, user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams • Conduct data and process analysis to support business cases, prioritisation and decision-making • Run workshops, interviews and facilitated sessions across operational, commercial and technical audiences • Support testing, UAT and go-live activities to ensure delivery lands the intended outcomes • Partner with change, training and operations colleagues to embed new ways of working • (Technical / Systems BA) Bridge between business stakeholders and engineering—data flows, integrations, system behaviour, API design from a functional perspective • (For Senior/Lead/Head of) Set BA standards and practice, mentor analysts, lead larger transformation and change programmes What You'll Bring Technical Expertise: • Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and management techniques • Process modelling and design (BPMN, swim lanes, journey mapping, value stream mapping) • Agile artefacts—user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, story mapping • Working SQL skills for data investigation and validation (intermediate level) • Familiarity with BI / visualisation tools for self-service analysis (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) • Confident with collaboration and documentation tooling (Confluence, Jira, Lucidchart, Miro) • (Technical / Systems BA) Understanding of system architecture, data flows, integrations and APIs from a functional standpoint • Familiarity with one or more delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Waterfall) and pragmatism about choosing the right one Business & Soft Skills: • Strong stakeholder facilitation—able to hold the room with operational, commercial and technical audiences • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to make complex ideas legible to non-specialists • Workshop design and running—structured, outcome-focused, energising • Pragmatism—balancing analytical thoroughness with delivery momentum • Naturally curious about the business behind the requirements • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to bring structure to messy problems • Collaborative approach with product, engineering, operations, change and SME teams Domain Flexibility: • Roles span digital transformation, financial services, regulatory and compliance, customer operations, commercial, supply chain, public sector and platform programmes • Background in any of these is welcomed; appetite to learn an adjacent domain valued just as much Experience Level: • Minimum 2+ years for Business Analyst, 4+ for Senior, 7+ for Lead / Head of Business Analysis • Background in business analysis, technical / systems analysis, process improvement, change or transformation • Examples of analyses, requirements or change initiatives you've owned end-to-end What We Offer • Opportunity to work on commercially meaningful change where analysis genuinely shapes the outcome • Exposure to modern delivery methodologies, transformation programmes and contemporary tooling • Roles at the level you're ready for—we're hiring across the full BA spectrum, IC through to Head of • A collaborative environment where structured thinking and facilitation skill are both valued • Clear scope to develop specialist depth (digital, regulatory, technical, transformation) or stay broad • Flexible working arrangements (on-site, hybrid or remote) and supportive team culture Job Type: Full-time
