Job description

Job Title: Business & Marketing Data Scientist Location: Hybrid (Tues-Thurs in office, Mon & Fri remote) Remuneration: £54.81 per hour Contract Details: ASAP until 4th Dec 2026 Responsibilities: • Formulate and interpret data to reach specific conclusions as a key project contributor. • Scale existing solutions and create repeatable best practises, tutorials, and documentation. • Write and review solution code, ensuring integration with production code alongside developers and partners. • Develop roadmaps and methodologies to address data-related questions, defining requirements and anticipating challenges. • Implement recommended changes through collaboration with teams, driving ongoing analysis for product excellence. • Gather, extract, and compile data across sources using SQL, R, or Python, ensuring quality and privacy. • Help teams prioritise tasks using data, driving identification of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine complex business questions into analysable metrics and models. • Assess gaps in products based on user feedback and metrics analysis, contributing technical solutions. • Review and provide feedback on analyses conducted by others, addressing analytical challenges. • Develop metrics to track solution implementation, creating dashboards and tools to automate processes. • Interface with stakeholders to understand business goals and existing data infrastructure. Qualifications: • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data dashboard creation. • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques. • Excellent communication and active listening skills. • Proven leadership in data science initiatives.
