Marylebone Academy is seeking an exceptional Business Support Officer to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the school. Working closely with the Executive Business Manager, Principal and Senior Leadership Team, you will help ensure our academy runs efficiently by supporting business operations, facilities, health and safety, compliance and front office services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems and working collaboratively within a busy school environment. About the Role As our Business Support Officer, you will: • Lead the day-to-day management of the school reception and front office. • Support facilities, estates and health & safety administration, ensuring statutory compliance. • Coordinate contractors, visitors, volunteers and supply staff compliance checks. • Manage data protection processes, including Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information requests and GDPR compliance. • Lead and develop the academy's lettings programme, building community partnerships and increasing income generation. • Support absence coordination, finance administration, purchase orders and invoices. • Produce reports, maintain records and support senior leaders with operational projects. • Provide excellent customer service to students, families, staff and visitors. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who has: • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school environment. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. • Outstanding communication and customer service skills. • The ability to prioritise competing demands and work independently. • A positive, flexible approach with excellent attention to detail. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
