Business Systems Manager

Description • Lead IT service and business systems strategy, performance, and compliance within a GxP-regulated environment • Act as the senior IT partner to site leadership, aligning digital capability with business priorities • Own and prioritise the digital portfolio, ensuring investment aligns with strategic goals • Provide executive oversight of programmes, managing risk, governance, and delivery outcomes • Ensure systems are validated, audit-ready, and meet regulatory and operational requirements • Drive business continuity planning and proactive risk management • Lead vendor strategy, supplier relationships, and commercial negotiations • Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration • Align regional IT governance with global standards and frameworks • Support enterprise-wide digital and smart manufacturing initiatives Profile A successful Business Systems Manager should have: • Strong experience leading IT services and business systems in a regulated (GxP) environment • Proven track record in system validation, change control, and data integrity • Experience defining and executing IT strategy at site or regional level • Background in digital transformation within operational or manufacturing environments • Demonstrated leadership of teams, including coaching and capability development • Strong vendor management and budget control experience • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge IT and business functions • Knowledge of IT service frameworks and governance (e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile) • Strong decision-making, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (certifications beneficial) Job Offer • Comprehensive salary benefits package to support your well-being. • Permanent position offering stability and career progression opportunities. • Engaging work environment in Hatfield, with a focus on innovative solutions.
