Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision components for the aerospace and power generation industries, is looking for a Buyer to join their growing Purchasing team. Buyer Permanent Competitive Salary (DOE) Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 12:30 Alcester Buyer Job Description • Manage the procurement of materials and services to support production requirements • Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier performance • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships • Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial agreements • Monitor inventory levels to ensure material availability • Analyse purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities • Work closely with Production, Planning and Engineering teams • Ensure supplier information, pricing and lead times are accurately maintained within the ERP system Buyer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications • Previous buying or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail • Confident using Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems • Proactive, organised and able to prioritise workload effectively Buyer Benefits • 31 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), increasing with service • Annual bonus scheme • Company pension with 4% employer contribution • Free onsite parking • High street and gym membership discount schemes • Early finish every Friday If you feel you're a good fit for this position, please click 'Apply', email or call .
