Buyer

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities. The role focuses on direct purchasing, covering a wide range of commodities including films, foams, tapes, clips, coatings, stampings, fasteners, fixings and surface treatments. Buyer Permanent Salary dependent on experience Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 2pm Minworth – Site based Buyer Job Description • Day to day commercial management of the supplier base • Negotiate prices and contract terms • Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI • Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims Buyer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications • Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable • Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar • Experienced working within a fast-paced environment Buyer Company Benefits • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays • Life assurance x3 salary • Company pension, 4.5% employer contribution • On site restaurant If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’
