Caravan Chassis Operative - Day Shift | HU7 £14.44 per hour | Monday-Thursday | 7:30am-5:45pm We're currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Caravan Chassis Operative to join a busy and well-established caravan manufacturing team based in the HU7 area. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on, physical work and operating within a fast-paced production environment. Shift & Pay • Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:45pm • Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour • Long weekend every week - Friday off Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Caravan Chassis Operative, your duties will include: • Assembling and preparing caravan chassis components on the production line • Fitting axles, brakes, and running gear to chassis frames • Using hand and power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks • Working from basic technical drawings and instructions • Carrying out quality checks to ensure all chassis meet company standards • Assisting with loading, moving, and positioning chassis safely • Supporting other areas of production when required • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area • Working to daily production targets and following instructions from team leaders Requirements • Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical role - essential • Experience within caravan, automotive, or engineering environments - desirable • Confident using hand and power tools • Ability to follow instructions and work from basic drawings • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
