Job description

Able Hands Health Care Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. You will support individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. Key responsibilities: • Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting • Assisting with medication in line with care plans and company procedures • Preparing meals and supporting clients with eating and drinking • Providing companionship and emotional support • Assisting with mobility and safe transfers • Carrying out light household duties • Supporting clients with shopping, appointments and community activities • Recording care provided accurately and reporting any concerns • Following safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety, and infection-control procedures • Treating every client with dignity, kindness and respect What we are looking for: • A caring, patient and respectful attitude • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Reliability, honesty and professionalism • The ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check What we offer: • Competitive rates of pay • Full induction and ongoing training • Flexible working hours • Supportive management team • Opportunities for career development • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in people’s lives If you are compassionate, dependable and passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you.
