Job TitleDomiciliary Carer Job PurposeTo provide friendly, compassionate care and support to people in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible. Main Duties • Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting • Help clients prepare meals and drinks and support them with eating if needed • Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping • Provide companionship and emotional support • Help clients take medication as instructed and in line with company procedures • Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible • Follow each client's care plan and respect their choices and preferences • Report any concerns or changes in a client's health or wellbeing to your supervisor • Complete care records accurately after each visit • Follow health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures • Attend training and team meetings as required Person SpecificationEssential • Kind, caring, and respectful attitude • Good communication skills • Reliable and punctual • Willingness to learn and complete training • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team • Right to work in the UK Desirable • Previous experience in care is helpful but not essential Working HoursFlexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and bank holidays, depending on service needs. TrainingFull training and ongoing support will be provided
