On behalf of PwC, we are recruiting for a Change Manager on a contract basis until the end of November 2026. The role is based in Reading and will operate on a hybrid working model. Join us as a Change Manager: This role will play a key part in delivering business change activities to support the implementation of a large-scale technology transformation. The successful candidate will lead change delivery activities, ensuring effective adoption of new systems and ways of working across a large operational workforce. You will work closely with business leaders, operational teams, and project stakeholders to drive engagement, readiness, training, and successful transition into business-as-usual operations. What you'll do: • Lead business change activities to support the successful delivery and adoption of a complex transformation programme. • Develop and manage change plans, deployment approaches, and adoption strategies. • Assess people impacts and define appropriate change interventions. • Own stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption, and post-go-live support activities. • Work with operational teams and leadership to embed new systems and processes. • Support business readiness and ensure teams are prepared for transition. • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, project teams, and end users. • Monitor adoption progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans. • Support hypercare activities and ensure sustainable change outcomes. The skills you'll need: • Proven experience as a Change Manager delivering large-scale transformation programmes. • Experience leading business change, adoption, and organisational change initiatives. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels. • Experience managing communications, training, and change readiness activities. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Experience working with complex operational environments. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams. Desirable Experience • Experience within the Energy & Utilities sector. • Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation programmes. • Experience working with field-based or operational teams. • Experience leading teams or managing change resources.
