Job description

JOB TITLE: Agricultural & Rural Property Lawyer PQE: 1+ years LOCATION: Berkshire THE OPPORTUNITY: An established and highly regarded Agricultural and Rural Land team is looking to recruit a solicitor to support its growing workload. This role offers a balance of teamwork and autonomy, with the successful candidate contributing to joint projects while also managing their own caseload. You will be involved in a broad spectrum of rural property work, ranging from routine matters to more intricate and specialist transactions. The team acts for clients across the agricultural sector, advising on issues such as farm sales and purchases, agricultural tenancies, and related commercial arrangements including easements and wayleaves. In addition, the team provides forward-thinking advice on diversification projects within the rural economy. This includes residential development opportunities, renewable energy schemes, forestry and carbon offset projects, biodiversity net gain, and other environmental and commercial initiatives. This role is well suited to a solicitor keen to build their expertise in agricultural and rural property law within a supportive and knowledgeable team. You will gain exposure to high-quality work, benefit from guidance from experienced practitioners, and have the opportunity to take ownership of your matters while delivering commercially focused advice.
