Children In Care Nurse

The role of the Children in Care Nurse is to work with other Health and Social Care services to support specialist health care delivery within a multi-professional Children in Care team. We are looking for an experienced practitioner who will work with and advocate for, Children in Care & young people to promote their best health outcomes. Clinically, you will be expected to independently manage your own case load, managing your time to conduct holistic statutory Review Health Assessments (RHAs) and writing comprehensive Children in Care Leavers Health Summaries - living inside and outside Coventry. You will also act as a point of contact for professional liaison, take part in a duty rota and attend safeguarding meetings. You will be expected to work within the local specification and national guidance to respond to Children in Care and young people, their carers and others supporting them. You may be required to travel across the country to engage with Coventrys Children in Care who are placed out of city.
