Class 1 Tramper Driver

Class 1 Tramper Driver Coatbridge Permanent £16.50 per hour Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver based in Coatbridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established transport operation offering guaranteed hours, regular overtime, and generous overnight allowances. Working Pattern: • Monday to Friday • Tramping Monday to Thursday • Paid travel home on Friday • Minimum of 45 hours per week • Consistent overtime available for those who want it Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out Class 1 deliveries and collections across the UK • Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation • Securing loads safely and delivering goods on time • Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using electronic POD systems where required • Maintaining high standards of customer service when delivering to clients • Adhering to all health and safety procedures and driving regulations What We're Looking For: • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card • Previous Class 1 tramping experience preferred • Strong understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach • Successful candidates must pass a Drug & Alcohol test prior to starting employment What's On Offer: • £16.50 per hour • Permanent, full-time position • Minimum 45 hours guaranteed per week • Regular overtime available • £28 overnight allowance for each night out (Monday to Thursday) • Paid travel home on Fridays • Opportunity to join a reputable and growing transport operation If you're an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a stable tramping role with excellent earning potential, apply today with your CV or contact Pertemps Recruitment for more information.
