Class 2 Refuse Driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C) Waste Day drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect waste either from domestic or commercial premises efficiently and safely. This role offers an excellent temp to perm opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 2 (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety. Duties • Safely operate a HGV Class 2 (C) lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies • Collection of waste, ensuring timely and accurate collections • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety. • Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations. Qualifications • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with a clean driving record • Experienced Drivers Essential • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members • Knowledge of health and safety standards • Ability to work independently, demonstrating organizational skills and reliability Monday to Friday -- starts 0600 (6am) to 1400 (2pm) This role is ideal for driven individuals seeking a dynamic position within logistics and transportation sectors.
