Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (HGV) Drivers for a fantastic opportunity with a well-established client in the waste sector. This is a great chance to secure long-term, full-time work with training provided and career progression available. The Role: • Monday to Friday • 12-week temp to perm opportunity • Start time: 06:45am (approx. 50 hours per week) • Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips • Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles • Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate delivery records via PDA • Ensuring all deliveries are completed within scheduled time slots What We're Looking For: • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card • Newly qualified drivers welcome • RoRo/Skip experience beneficial (training provided if not) • Experience using chains is advantageous • Own transport to commute to work • A strong understanding of health & safety and tachograph regulations What You'll Get: • Weekly pay • PAYE or PAYE Advanced payment options • Competitive rates of pay • Onsite parking • Training provided • Opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks • 24/7 support from our dedicated team Driver Hire Southampton supplies drivers to a wide range of clients across Winchester and Southampton.
