Cleaning Supervisor

ROLE PROFILE POST TITLE: Cleaning Supervisor RESPONSIBLE TO: Area Cleaning Manager LOCATION: Regional South Yorkshire KEY CONTACTS: Executive Management Team Human Resources Job Statement To ensure the delivery of high quality IPC cleaning services across designated sites in South Yorkshire by supervising cleaning operatives, conducting infection control audits and supporting the Area Cleaning Manager in maintaining safe compliant environments. Key Responsibilities IPC Operational Delivery • Conduct weekly IPC audits documenting compliance and identifying improvements • Ensure all IPC cleaning tasks meet BHF Cleaning Solutions standards and client requirements • Oversee correct use of disinfectants sanitisation products and colour coding systems • Provide hands on IPC cleaning support when required People Supervision • Supervise, motivate, and support IPC cleaning operatives • Deliver training on IPC procedures, PPE use, and safe working practices • Monitor attendance, performance, and adherence to IPC protocols • Support rota planning and emergency cover Communication & Reporting • Report audit findings, site issues, and staffing concerns to the Area Cleaning Manager • Maintain accurate records of IPC audits, stock and training • Build positive relationships with clients and site contacts Compliance & Safety • Ensure all staff follow IPC COSHH and health & safety procedures • Monitor equipment condition and arrange repairs or replacements • Maintain stock levels of IPCapproved chemicals and ensure safe storage Job description Job responsibilities ROLE PROFILE POST TITLE: Cleaning Supervisor RESPONSIBLE TO: Area Cleaning Manager LOCATION: Regional South Yorkshire KEY CONTACTS: Executive Management Team Human Resources Job Statement To ensure the delivery of high quality IPC cleaning services across designated sites in South Yorkshire by supervising cleaning operatives, conducting infection control audits and supporting the Area Cleaning Manager in maintaining safe compliant environments.
