Cleaning Technician Welwyn Garden City £27,758 per year 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our team based in Welwyn Garden City. This is a mostly lone working role and will include cleaning across multiple locations providing a quality cleaning service that meets customer and organisational needs. The role of Cleaning Technicianwill include: • General cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, wet and dry dusting • Identifying and reporting potential hazards or faults on site, to maintain a safe environment • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of allocated work tasks • Ensuring any tools and equipment that are used are maintained and in a good, workable condition also stock control to ensure levels are maintained • Providing a professional, courteous and customer friendly approach to all working tasks • Updating any paperwork required to be done during the working day Skills and experiences: • Knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines • Good understanding of written and spoken English • Basic communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties • Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads • Some practical experience in operating cleaning machinery • Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential About us We provide in-house repairs and maintenance for a wide range of properties, as part of a not-for-profit organisation.
