Client Development & Communications Specialist London | 14-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Are you a commercially minded marketing and business development professional looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for an experienced Client Development & Communications Specialist to join a high-performing marketing team within a leading international professional services firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of business development, communications, digital marketing, PR, and events, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives that strengthen client relationships and support business growth. What You'll Be Doing You'll play a key role in delivering high-impact marketing and business development activity, including: • Leading and supporting strategic go-to-market initiatives and practice group plans. • Creating compelling pitches, proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials. • Managing communications and PR campaigns in collaboration with external agencies. • Planning and delivering webinars, client events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities. • Coordinating client alerts, website content, lawyer biographies, and digital communications. • Conducting market, client, and competitor research to identify business opportunities. • Supporting lateral partner integration and business development initiatives. • Managing legal directory submissions, tracking marketing metrics, and reporting on campaign performance. • Collaborating with colleagues across marketing, communications, digital, and leadership teams to deliver outstanding results. What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who combines commercial awareness with excellent organisational and communication skills. You'll ideally have: • 5+ years' experience in marketing or business development within a law firm or professional services environment. • Strong experience producing pitches, proposals, events, and communications. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships. • The ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
