Job description
A Clinical Support Worker (CSW) is responsible for providing healthcare to patients and supporting with basic clinical duties under the supervision of Registered Nurses, doctors and other registered healthcare professionals. Their role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients during their hospital admission ensuring they receive high quality care.Clinical Support Worker (CSW) are required to work within the multidisciplinary team ensuring the department is a safe, clean and welcoming place for patients, visitors and staff.Day to day tasks will primarily include supporting with a range of personal care activities, supporting individual patient needs and undertaking a range of clinical duties in line with personal training, competence levels and Trust policy.CSWs are fundamental to the implementation of individual patient care plans and will work under the direction of registered professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.In addition to supporting with personal and clinical care, CSWs may be required to support with a range of basic housekeeping and administrative duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
