Job title: CNC Grinder Salary: Dependant on experience Location: Hemel Hempstead Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) - 6PM – 4AM, Monday to Thursday My client is looking for a CNC Grinder to work the late Shift (4 on 4 off), the work involves small to medium batch production with medium to high complexity. Your main responsibility will be setting, and operating CNC grinding machines ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability. Duties: • Set, operate, and manage CNC grinding equipment • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments • Perform in-process quality checks • Interpret engineering drawings • Maintain safe working practices • Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets • Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements • Where practical, pre-set ready for next job • Experience setting and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment Attributes: • Commercial awareness and professionalism • A good standard of general education with basic computer and numerical skills • Astute attention to detail with steady hand-eye coordination
