CNC Operator

CNC Setter/Operator • Annual Salary: Competitive Starting - £29,100 • Location: Four Marks/Alton, Hampshire • Job Type: Full-time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Setter/Operator to join a successful manufacturing company. This permanent role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team, setting and operating CNC machines, primarily lathes, in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-day of the role: • Setting and operating two different CNC machines, focusing mainly on lathes. • Inspecting own work to ensure it meets the required quality standards. • Reading and interpreting technical drawings. • Performing additional tasks such as de-burring, linishing, wire brushing, manual turning/milling, and goods-in receiving which involves heavy lifting. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience in setting and operating CNC machines. • TIG welding skills are advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. • Strong attention to detail and reliability. • Keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn new skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a small manufacturing team. • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace and communal areas.
