Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join their skilled and established engineering team. Key Responsibilities • Program, set, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centres. • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. • Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software and G-code. • Set tooling, fixtures, datums, and machine offsets. • Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks. • Measure components using precision inspection equipment. • Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements. • Complete production documentation and maintain quality standards. • Carry out routine machine maintenance. • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and best practices. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: • Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery. • Strong knowledge of G-code and engineering drawings. • Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment. • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team. • An engineering or machining qualification such as NVQ, BTEC, or City & Guilds. • Experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar CAM software. • Knowledge of Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or Heidenhain control systems.
