Commercial Analyst

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a global supply and distribution business based in Doncaster as they look to recruit a new Commercial Analyst into the team. The purpose of the role is to serve as a critical business partner to both the Finance and Sales Director as well as the Finance Team, transforming complex market data into actionable pricing strategies. This role will not just "monitor" data but will proactively identify revenue leakages and lead initiatives to optimise Gross Margin and Price Elasticity across their B2B cable product portfolio. The company offers fantastic benefits including: - • Salary up to £65,000 • 23 days annual leave + bank holidays • Private medical • Hybrid working • Company pension It will be a varied role with duties to include: - • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to ensure competitiveness and profitability • Analyse pricing data and customer behaviour to recommend adjustments • Conduct margin analysis and contribute to price-setting for bids and tenders • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends in the UK cables sector • Support the commercial and sales teams with data-driven insights to inform strategy • Evaluate customer performance, contract profitability, and deal structures • Identify opportunities for commercial optimisation across product lines • Partner with finance and sales teams to support forecasting and business planning • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, SQL and Hubpsot etc and data visualisation software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
