An international law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor to support a major asset management client on a range of commercial and funds-related agreements. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer to work on sophisticated contractual matters while developing expertise within the investment funds sector. Description Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements that include: • Fundraising Agreements • Distribution Agreements • Platform Agreements • Fund Link Agreements • Service and Supplier Agreements • Commercial Partnership Agreements • Other asset management and funds-related contractual arrangements Advising on contractual, legal and commercial risk. Supporting stakeholders on day-to-day commercial legal matters. Managing negotiations with counterparties and external advisers. Providing pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice. Working collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders in a fully remote environment. Profile Essential • Senior Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales. (5 PQE+) • Strong commercial contracts background. • Demonstrable experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. • Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem solving. Desirable • Experience within asset management, investment management or financial services. • Exposure to funds-related commercial agreements. • Interest in developing specialist expertise within the funds sector.
