Join an established Projects team offering high-quality work, excellent client exposure, and genuine progression opportunities. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Gemma Jones on or email with your CV – JOB REF: THE ROLE: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Projects Solicitor to join a highly regarded Projects team handling a broad range of complex commercial contracts and strategic projects. Acting for a diverse client base across the public and private sectors, you will advise on high-value commercial agreements, major projects, and long-term contractual arrangements. The role will involve drafting, negotiating, and structuring sophisticated commercial contracts, managing matters from instruction through to completion, and delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice. You will also play an active role in mentoring junior lawyers, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth and success of the team. THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 10 years' PQE and substantial commercial contracts experience. You will have a strong background advising on complex commercial projects, ideally involving Government departments or organisations contracting with the public sector. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills are essential, together with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice. Experience of the Model Services Contract, public procurement matters or existing Security Clearance would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership skills, experience mentoring junior lawyers and a commitment to business development. THE FIRM: This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading national law firms with an outstanding reputation for advising on high-profile commercial projects across both the public and private sectors. Renowned for its collaborative culture, quality of work and investment in its people, the firm offers exposure to nationally significant projects, genuine career progression, and a supportive environment where lawyers are encouraged to take responsibility and develop their expertise. THE PACKAGE: Market-leading salary and comprehensive benefits package, firm-wide annual bonus, generous pension scheme with salary sacrifice options, 25 days' annual leave plus the flexibility to buy or sell additional leave, enhanced family leave, income protection, life assurance, hybrid working, a flexible benefits platform, employee assistance programme and excellent long-term career development opportunities.
