Job description

Commercial Solicitor | 3–5 PQE | Berkshire | £60,000–£75,000 DOE. Join a growing team offering high-quality commercial work and genuine career progression. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Gemma Jones on or email with your CV – JOB REF: THE ROLE: You will advise a diverse client base including start-ups, entrepreneurs, charities, SMEs, privately owned businesses, and UK subsidiaries of multinational organisations. You will manage your own varied caseload while supporting senior lawyers on a wide range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, bespoke agreements, and licences, advising on intellectual property, IT, and data protection issues, and providing corporate support. The role also offers exposure to emerging technologies, including AI and evolving legislation, together with genuine opportunities to develop specialist expertise and progress your career. THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with between 3 -5 years' PQE and solid commercial law experience gained within a private practice or in-house setting. You will possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver practical, business-focused advice. The successful candidate will be confident managing their own caseload, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to business development initiatives. A proactive attitude, excellent organisational skills and an interest in mentoring junior colleagues will be highly regarded.
