You will be supporting a diverse range of clients, from start-ups and established SMEs to larger corporates, advising on the full spectrum of commercial arrangements, focusing on practical, commercially sound solutions. While undertaking your legal career at this firm you will advise on a broad range of matters, some being business sales, acquisitions, and reorganisations, intellectual property and licensing, and franchise, agency, and consultancy agreements. The firm is looking for a commercially minded and confident Solicitor who has significant experience advising business clients on a wide range of commercial agreements, you should have a strong understanding of contract law and be comfortable advising clients on complex legal issues in a clear and cohesive manner. You should be confident managing your own caseload, developing client relationships, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the team. As an Associate Solicitor you will take on a senior role at the firm, playing a key role in supporting junior colleagues, shaping client service standards, and helping to drive business development initiatives. THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from qualified Commercial Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives in England & Wales, with 2+ years PQE, with well-developed professional and interpersonal skills. You should have excellent communication skills that allow you to work in a team environment and develop relationships across the business. Along with this you should possess the ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of a range of technical issues that are key to the firms’ clients. The firm is looking for a commercially minded and confident Solicitor who has significant experience advising business clients on a wide range of commercial agreements. Your caseload will include assisting with commercial sales, including negotiating and drafting sale agreements and ancillary documents, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, advising on intellectual property rights and other commercial risks, and supporting clients with day to day legal and strategic business decisions. As an Associate you will play a key role in supporting your junior colleagues, while also managing your own caseload, developing client relationships, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the team.
