Commercial Solicitor (4+ PQE)
Maidenhead Hybrid Working | £65,000-£85,000 DOE + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Our client, a leading Legal 500 law firm, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its growing Commercial team in Maidenhead. The Role
You'll advise a diverse client base on a broad range of commercial matters, including:
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Terms and Conditions of Business
• Supply, distribution and agency agreements
• IT, software and SaaS agreements
• Licensing, intellectual property and data protection matters
• Outsourcing and service agreements
• Advising start-ups on business structures, investment and commercial strategy
• Supporting charities on governance, regulatory compliance and commercial issues
• Advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses on day-to-day commercial legal matters
• Supporting multinational organisations with UK commercial law and cross-border transactions
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
About You
You'll ideally be a Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in Commercial Law, plus:
• Strong experience advising on a wide range of commercial contracts
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Knowledge of IT, technology or software contracts would be advantageous
• Excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercial awareness with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• An interest in business development and networking
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
