Job description

• Location: Academy Campus - East London • Job Type: Full-time All Year Round • 37 Hours a week • Start Date: 1st September 2026 This is an exciting opportuntoy for an experienced Community Lettings and Facilities Manager to oversee the safety, security, and operational management of our Academy's facilities outside of regular school hours. This role is crucial for facilitating the growth of academy lettings and ensuring that our campus serves as a vibrant hub for both the Academy and the local community. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate Lettings Officers to ensure all shifts adequately cover all bookings. • Develop marketing strategies to increase the number of bookings. • Handle the replacement of equipment and maintenance of facilities to ensure they are ready for all scheduled bookings. • Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries and manage all bookings and enquiries. • Provide excellent customer service, positioning the academy as a central part of the local community. • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the campus is safe and secure, taking remedial action if necessary. • Act as the designated key holder and point of contact for the academy premises. • Manage operational systems such as heating, cooling, lighting, and security as required. • Perform routine health and safety checks and undertake basic site maintenance and minor repairs within competency levels. • Prepare and set up Academy spaces for various events and ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained. • Supervise out-of-hours works and manage the lettings timetable to ensure optimal use of the facilities.
