Job description
You will be
joining the Evening and Night team element of one of our dynamic and supportive
Neighbourhood Teams to provide a 24-hour admission avoidance service to the
population of Worcestershire which encompasses both urban and rural areas. The
Service is based at Droitwich, with further satellite bases across the County
and flexibility to start from home.
The successful
candidate will support nursing staff and deliver independently a high standard
of nursing care for patients in their own homes. Ensuring that care provided
maintains the individuals privacy and dignity, values diversity and respects
cultural and individual rights and choices.
We are looking
for candidates with good communication skills, a flexible approach and
enthusiasm to work within the team. You
should be a committed, highly motivated and forward-thinking individual who is
a good team player.
The successful
candidate will also assist the team to develop and achieve team and
organizational objectives. They will also participate in staff meetings and
training & development activities as necessary to ensure their skills and
knowledge are up to date.
Due to the
nature of the post the applicant must be able to travel independently and have
access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Whilst a base will be
identified, staff can be asked to work anywhere within the Business Unit or
Service if necessary.
