Community Support Worker • Hourly Rate: From £13 per hour • Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Bank hours • Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our supportive team, providing complex care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. This role is ideal for someone who is empathetic, caring, and has a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others. Day-to-day of the role: • Provide direct support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions, ensuring their comfort and safety. • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management. • Implement care plans designed to meet individual needs and promote independence. • Monitor and report changes in health, behaviour, and needs to relevant professionals. • Engage clients in social activities and community programs to enhance their quality of life. • Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role within the health care sector. • Knowledge of caring for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. • A driver's license is an advantage, enabling flexibility and support across various locations. • Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathic approach. • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. • Commitment to professional development and adherence to care standards.
