Compliance Manager

What’s in it for you? • Join one of the UK's fastest-growing insurance brokers • Hybrid working environment • Work directly with senior leadership and key decision-makers • Opportunity to build and shape the compliance function from the ground up • Exposure to major regulatory projects and FCA authorisation activity • Collaborative, ambitious and supportive company culture • Be part of a certified B Corp organisation • Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business continues to grow Must have’s • Previous compliance experience within an insurance broker or regulated insurance environment • Strong understanding of FCA regulations, including ICOBS, Consumer Duty and SM&CR • Experience developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures and registers • Experience conducting compliance monitoring and reporting findings • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them clearly across the business • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to work independently and take ownership of compliance responsibilities Nice to have’s • Experience supporting FCA Direct Authorisation projects • Experience producing Consumer Duty Board reports • Exposure to working alongside external compliance consultants • Experience within a high-growth or scaling business So, what will you be doing? • Owning and developing the company’s compliance framework • Maintaining policies, procedures, registers and governance documentation • Acting as the first point of contact for compliance-related queries across the business • Monitoring compliance activity and reporting findings to senior stakeholders • Ensuring the business remains aligned with FCA requirements and industry regulations • Supporting the company’s transition towards FCA Direct Authorisation • Assisting with Consumer Duty implementation and ongoing compliance obligations • Working closely with external compliance consultants on specialist regulatory projects • Supporting regulatory reporting and governance requirements • Delivering practical compliance guidance across the business • Supporting compliance training initiatives • Building strong relationships with internal teams and leadership • Helping embed a positive compliance culture that supports sustainable business growth Helpful extras • Hybrid working available • Work alongside an experienced leadership team • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Opportunity to make a significant impact from day one • Join a business recognised as one of the UK's fastest-growing companies Interested?
