Complience & Quality Coordinator - Hemel Hempstead
People Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a Compliance & Quality Coordinator on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation operating within the pharmaceutical logistics and life sciences sector based in Hemel Hempstead.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support compliance activities across Quality, Safety, Security and Customs functions. Working within a highly regulated environment, you will play a key role in ensuring company policies, procedures and management systems remain compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The salary is £26,000 - £30,000 based on experience. The working hours are 8.30am - 16.30pm Monday to Friday.
Previous compliance experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Shifts: Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 4.30pm
Annual Salary between: £26,000 - £30,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Responsible Person (Deputy) with the GDP (Good Distribution Practice) Quality Management System.
• Assist with the maintenance and development of GDP policies and procedures.
• Support the management of Security policies and procedures.
• Assist the Compliance Officer with the administration of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Maintain compliance documentation, policies and procedures.
• Support customs approvals and regulatory compliance as a Customs Intermediary.
• Assist with the management of business and cargo insurance policies, schedules and compliance requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Help ensure ongoing compliance with ISO, GDP and AEO standards.
• Monitor and support adherence to company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are maintained and followed in accordance with regulations including HMRC, CAA, DfT, ISO and GDP requirements.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 compliance would be advantageous.
• Experience within compliance, quality, logistics, customs, pharmaceutical or regulated environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
