Job description

This Legal 500 & Chambers-ranked international law firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its market-leading construction and projects team in Birmingham, with hybrid working on offer. The opportunity is open to candidates with 3+ years’ PQE, with positions available across a number of specialist and generalist teams. The team has continued to grow in response to a strong and sustained pipeline of high-quality work, and is now looking to hire an Associate Solicitor with a clear view to long-term progression and Partnership development. You will have the opportunity to join a sector-focused team (for example, clean energy and infrastructure projects) or a broader construction and projects group, offering exposure to a wide variety of sectors and clients. You will advise on non-contentious construction matters across some of the most high-profile and complex projects in the UK and internationally, working with an elite client base and alongside leading lawyers across the firm’s global network. The team operates as an integrated international practice, meaning regular involvement in cross-border work and collaboration with offices worldwide. The role offers exceptional exposure for those with ambitions to work internationally in the future, with a strong track record of associates going on to roles in key global markets such as the Middle East and Australia. There are also opportunities for international travel and secondments for those who are interested. This is widely regarded as one of the premier construction and projects teams in the UK and globally, offering first-class training, high-calibre work and a clear pathway for career progression. The strength of the firm’s workstream ensures long-term stability and the opportunity to build a strong business case for advancement. The firm offers a collaborative and supportive culture, with a strong emphasis on development and a modern, flexible working environment. Competitive salary packages are available in line with the current market and can be tailored to attract top talent.
