Job description

Role Summary We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of government, commercial, and international contracts. The role ensures contractual compliance, supports programme delivery, and mitigates commercial risk within a regulated aerospace and defence environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage the full contract lifecycle from proposal to closeout. • Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and amendments. • Ensure compliance with UK, US, and international government regulations. • Interpret contract terms and provide commercial guidance to internal stakeholders. • Track contract deliverables, milestones, funding, and reporting requirements. • Identify contractual risks and support mitigation strategies. • Partner with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Programme teams to resolve contract issues. • Support RFP/RFQ reviews and subcontract administration. Required Experience • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. • 3–7+ years' contract administration experience in Aerospace & Defence. • Experience supporting government and commercial aerospace contracts. • Strong knowledge of contract management principles and regulatory compliance. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
