Legal Secretary - Conveyancing

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected law firm in Norwich for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing comprehensive secretarial support to Fee Earners within the Conveyancing department.
• Audio and copy typing of legal documents, correspondence and reports.
• Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors and other third parties.
• Opening, maintaining and closing client files.
• Handling incoming calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
• Preparing contracts, completion statements and Land Registry documentation.
• Ensuring all documents are accurately filed and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Residential Conveyancing.
• Excellent audio typing and keyboard skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A professional and client-focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
